Briefly Summarizing Known History Of The Property:
South Boulevard was
formerly known as US 21, a major commercial corridor. Thus
advertisements for automobile related structures, such as the Dixie Auto &
Wrecker, Inc. were becoming more needed, and more prevalent. Dixie
Auto & Wrecker, Inc. has had the name Dixie since it was built by C.M. Allen
in 1958; the name changed to Dixie Auto & Wrecker, Inc. in 1972 when the
service station was purchased by it's current owners.
