Thus, automobiles and trucks became the principal means of transportation through this area. Inevitably, with this abundance of heavy pass-through traffic, a surplus of commercial structures were rapidly developing along the then new interstate. Across the nation the number of disposable incomes were growing, men and women had the money, and the time to get their hair cut, Greene's Barber Styling Shop is not only an example of this, but also a prime example of Post WWII architecture. Although Greene's Barber Styling Shop may not have always been a barber shop, it has existed on Rozzelles Ferry Road since 1949.
